Week 1 : Carefully review lecture slides. You can supplement them with this text from Randy Harris. Then you are ready for fun.

Week 2: Read Serway  Chapter 1.1-1.5, answer questions 1-12  & Solve problems 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,  8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18.  Solutions are posted.

Week 3: Read Serway  Section 1.6  &  2.1-2.4. Answer Ch2  Q1-7.   Solve problems : Ch 1: 20, 22 ,23, 24, 35,  &  Ch 2: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,12, 15, 16, 22, 24. Challenge Problems 1. 33, 2.30.  Solutions here but pl. attempt the questions and problems yourself first before peeking!

Week 4:  Solve Problems Ch. 2: 18, 20, 33,   Read Ch 3.1-3.6.  Answer Ch3 Questions: 2, 4,6,7,9,10 and solve problems 3.2,4,10,13,17,20,22,24,25,34,36,43. Solutions are posted.

Week 5: Read the handout on Reduced mass + Chapter 4.1-4.5 & 5.1-5.3. Answer Q 3,4,6,8 and solve Problems 3,5,7,9,14,17,23,26,32,38. Read Ch 5.1-5.3. Answer  Ch 5 Q: 2,3,4 and solve Problems 5.4,6,11,13. Solutions are posted.

Week 6: Read Chapter 5.3,5.5-5.8. Answer Q 5&6. Solve problem: 5.18, 19, 20, 22, 24,25 28, 30, 32. Also read this  lecture on Quantum Behavior from which Prof. Sharma's lecture 18  is based. Solutions are posted.

Week 7:. There will be Quiz3 in WLH on Week5 & Week6 material, but no live lecture on Mon, Th & Fri.  Grab popcorn and watch his asynch lecture videos linked in the Lecture pages,  Read Chapter 6.1-6.8. Answer Q 1, 2 & 8. Solve  6.2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 18. 21, 23 , 24. Solutions are posted.

Week 8: Solve Ch 6 problems 6.29, 30,  31,  32, 33, 34, 37, 38. Read Ch.7.1-7.2. Read only Field emission & Alpha decay sections. Answer questions 7.1,2,5, Solve problems 7.1,2,3,5,7. 11,17. Solutions are posted.

Week 9: Read Ch 8. [Section 8.4 is optional and won't be on Quiz or Final]. Review all solved problems in the chapter before solving 8.1,2,3,4,7,8, 10,12,14, 16,18,24. Solutions are posted.

Week 10: Read all of Ch 9,  pay attention to solved problems only then attempt  Problems: 3, 7, 12,16, 17, 21,22,25. Enjoy 🦃 but stay focussed for the Finals. Fall quarter is tricky in that regard. Solutions are posted.

Week 11: NO HOMEWORK 😀
